Terms of Service

The ground rules for using Faal on iOS and Android.

Last updated:

These terms apply when you use the Faal app on any platform. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you disagree with any part, you are free not to use the service.

Using Faal

Faal is a personal spiritual and horoscope app. You agree to use it for its intended purpose: exploring astrology, tarot, dream journaling, palm and coffee readings, and related features for your own reflection and enjoyment.

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer the app's content or data feeds.
  • Use automated tools or bots to interact with the service.
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
  • Use the app to harass, deceive, or harm anyone.
  • Violate any applicable law while using the service.

We reserve the right to limit or suspend access if these rules are broken.

Accounts

Each person may create one account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials private. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

You do not need an account to browse some parts of the app, but personalized features such as your natal chart and saved readings require one.

Subscriptions and Credits

Free tier. Faal has a free tier that remains available. Core features are accessible without paying.

Credits. Some advanced readings and AI-powered features run on a credit system. Credits are purchased inside the app and consumed when you use those features. Credits are non-refundable once consumed.

Premium subscription. A subscription unlocks additional daily content and a higher credit allowance each billing cycle. Subscriptions are billed through Apple or Google depending on your platform.

Billing and refunds. All purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Their respective refund policies apply. Faal does not directly handle payment card information. For refund requests, follow the standard Apple or Google refund process for your platform.

Content You Provide

You own the content you create in Faal: your journal entries, saved readings, notes, and uploaded photos. By submitting content to the app, you grant Faal a limited license to store and process that content for the sole purpose of providing the service back to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it for any other purpose.

If you delete your account, your content is deleted with it within 30 days.

Intellectual Property

The Faal name, logo, source code, design, copy, and reading templates are protected by intellectual property law. Using the service does not transfer any of those rights to you. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works from Faal's materials without prior written permission. You retain ownership of the content you create inside the app.

What Faal Is Not

This is important. Faal provides entertainment and a space for personal reflection. The readings, charts, and interpretations in the app are not:

  • Medical advice or a substitute for professional healthcare.
  • Mental health counseling or therapy.
  • Legal advice.
  • Financial advice.

Do not make significant decisions about your health, relationships, finances, or legal matters based on anything you read in Faal. If you are in distress, please reach out to a qualified professional or a crisis service in your region.

Termination

You can stop using Faal and delete your account at any time from the app's settings. There are no penalties for leaving.

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms or that is used to harm others. In cases of severe violation, we may do this without prior notice.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Faal is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific reading or feature will match your expectations. Network connectivity is required for most features.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Faal is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or content, arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Disputes arising from these terms or the use of Faal are subject to the courts of Istanbul, except where local consumer-protection law gives you a non-waivable right to bring a claim in your country of residence.

Changes to These Terms

We will update these terms when the service changes in ways that affect your rights. We will notify you within the app before material changes take effect. Continuing to use Faal after the effective date of a change means you accept the updated terms.
